Multi lit: In Scene 4, Troy explains his beliefs about his responsibilities as a father. Beyond providing food, clothing, and shelter, what do you believe a parent owes their child emotionally? Should love, encouragement, friendship, and support be expected, or are those things separate from a parent’s responsibilities?

Well, I believe that a parent should teach or give their child both love and at the same time teach them how to become a better person. For example telling them when it’s right moment to do something and tell them why they should do it and tell them what not to do and show them that it’s OK to get grounded that it’s OK to get in trouble because you learn from this mistake. I support this perspective because my parents have teach me that when I get in trouble they don’t ground me just because they want to they ground me, they do it because they’re teaching me a lesson. They are teaching me not to do that again.

Reflection: absent

Summary: Parents will show love and strictness Because they do it for us to not make the same mistakes they once did. It doesn’t have to be our parents they want to have to teach us this because it can even be a teacher. They will try to always teach us the best way how do you think and how to avoid some problems or issues that they already went through.
