AM LIT: In A Worn Path, Phoenix faces several obstacles as she makes her way toward her destination, but she continues because she has an important reason for completing her journey. Think about a time when you had to travel somewhere or work through obstacles to reach a destination or goal. What challenges did you face along the way? Was the journey worth it in the end? Explain why or why not.

This was last year where me, my dad, and my older brother were on a road trip. I remember how on the way to our destination we came across so many challenges, we were driving from TN to CA and through that whole across the country road trip our car broke down twice and then we had forgotten so many things at home. That was the first time where my I also got the chance to drive on the interstate, and it was nice until we hit several storms. We had to take multiple detours and one of those detours had this amazing views of the country side. This trip teach me that even though things never go out the way you expect, there will always have great moments alongside the problems.

Reflection: No matter how bad things can get you must enjoy the moments and remember how difficult but worth it was to get there.
